What is the heart of Church at the Well?
The heart of our ministry at Church at the Well is what we believe to be the very heart of the Father Himself; To reach those who do not know the Lord Jesus Christ in salvation and too also reach those who are lost in service to Him. Do you know the Lord Jesus Christ as your personal Savior today? Are you lost in “fruitful” service to the Lord and don’t have a church body to call home where you can grow and be used of the Lord? In either case, it is our sincere and dedicated desire to reach out to you and to help bring you to a fruitful relationship the Living God.
What can you experience and receive?
The ministry at Church of the Well is a ministry of “healing, power, and purpose.” We believe that there many in our world today who need healing… healing in their spirit, healing of a broken heart, healing in their emotions and minds, healing in relationships and/or healing from hurtful relationships, healing in their finances, and healing because of destructive life events and wrong decisions and choices. Christ is the answer for all of these needs. Jesus said, “the Spirit of the Lord is upon me… because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted. To preach deliverance to the captives, and recovery of sight to the blind. To set at liberty them that are bruised. To preach the acceptable year of the Lord,” Luke 4:18.
…God wants you empowered
In addition, as the Father gets us healed He wants us to be empowered. Church at the Well is a ministry of “power.” Here I am not just talking about the anointing in our services (our services glorify the Lord and are also mightily anointed) but I am referring to the emphasis put on the miraculous power of God for our lives every day! I am referring to the emphasis of the “gifts and the fruit of the Spirit” for our lives. We believe that “Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.” God wants to “empower” the lives of His people today. He wants to “give power to the weak and faint of heart, heal them, and empower them daily to live victoriously and be witnesses of His glory. We are all weak and can do nothing without Him. But the Lord Jesus Christ came to this earth to give us victory and “power” (power means having authority and miraculous ability) over the world, the flesh (sin), and the devil. He came and provided that for us to produce that in us to see it manifested in our lives! He wants to make you a “strong” Christian in every area of your life: in your personal walk with Him, in your family, in your relationships, in your vocation, in your ministry.
…living your God ordained purpose
Not only does the Lord want us healed and empowered but we believe that He has raised up Church at the Well to be a place emphasizing and imparting in you “purpose,” God’s purpose for your life. It is our sincere and dedicated desire to see people come into their “God given purpose.” If you already feel you know your purpose then we want to help you cultivate and realize your full potential in it. One of the old philosophers of long ago has said, “life without purpose is meaningless.” That statement is so true. The Lord Jesus stated His purpose for coming to earth in human form over and over again…He lived with purpose. The Bible also says, “for this purpose the Son of God was manifested that He might destroy the works of the devil.” The Father has a great plan and purpose “in Christ” for your life.. It is time to “discover it,” moreover, it is time to live it!
